Personal Data Processing Policy
1. General Provisions
This Personal Data Processing Policy (hereinafter  -  the Policy) has been drafted in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ
 "On Personal Data" dated July 27, 2006 (hereinafter  -  the Personal Data Law) and defines the procedure for processing personal data and measures to ensure the security of personal data undertaken by the Future History International Science Fiction Literary Award (hereinafter  -  the Operator).
1.1. The Operator considers observance of human and civil rights and freedoms during personal data processing, including the protection of the right to privacy, personal and family confidentiality, to be its primary goal and condition for carrying out its activities.
1.2. This Policy applies to all information the Operator may obtain about visitors to the website https://fhistory.ru/.
2. Key Terms Used in the Policy
2.1. Automated personal data processing  -  processing using computer technology.
2.2. Blocking of personal data  -  temporary suspension of processing (except when processing is required to update personal data).
2.3. Website  -  the combination of graphic, informational materials, programs, and databases available online at https://fhistory.ru/.
2.4. Personal data information system  -  a set of personal data stored in databases and processed using IT and technical tools.
2.5. Depersonalization of personal data  -  actions making it impossible to identify a user without additional information.

2.7. Operator  -  any entity or person organizing or carrying out personal data processing and defining the purpose and composition of personal data.
2.8. Personal data  -  any information relating directly or indirectly to a user of the website https://fhistory.ru/.
2.9. Personal data permitted by the subject for dissemination  -  personal data made publicly available with the consent of the data subject.
2.10. User  -  any visitor of the website https://fhistory.ru/.
2.11. Provision of personal data  -  disclosure to a specific person or group.
2.12. Dissemination of personal data  -  disclosure to an undefined number of people or making data publicly accessible.
2.13. Cross-border transfer  -  transmission of data to a foreign state, person, or organization.
2.14. Destruction of personal data  -  irreversible deletion from systems and/or destruction of physical data carriers.
3. Operator’s Rights and Obligations
3.1. The Operator has the right to:
— Receive accurate data and/or documents from the data subject;
— Continue processing after withdrawal of consent if legal grounds exist under the Law;
— Independently determine measures required for lawful data protection unless otherwise specified by law.
3.2. The Operator must:
— Provide data subjects with information about their data processing upon request;
— Organize data processing in accordance with Russian legislation;
— Respond to requests from data subjects or their legal representatives;
— Report to the authorized body on request within 10 days;
— Publish or otherwise ensure public access to this Policy;
— Implement legal, organizational, and technical measures to protect data;
— Cease processing and destroy data as provided by law;
— Fulfill other duties under the Law.
4. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects
4.1. Data subjects have the right to:
— Receive information about their personal data processing;
— Demand clarification, blocking, or destruction of incomplete, outdated, or unlawfully processed data;
— Require prior consent for marketing processing;
— Withdraw consent or demand processing cessation;

— Inform the Operator of any updates or changes.
4.3. Individuals providing false information or data of third parties without consent bear responsibility under Russian law.
5. Principles of Personal Data Processing
5.1. Processing is lawful and fair.
5.2. Processing must be for specific, lawful purposes.
5.3. Combining incompatible databases is prohibited.
5.4. Only data relevant to the processing purpose shall be processed.
5.5. The scope of processed data must match the stated purpose.
5.6. Data accuracy and relevance must be ensured.
5.7. Data is stored only as long as necessary for processing purposes unless otherwise required by law. Data is destroyed or depersonalized upon goal achievement or necessity expiration.
6. Purpose of Data Processing
The purpose is to inform the User via email.
Personal data processed includes:

— Email address
— Phone numbers
— Creative submission for the literary award

— Collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, destruction, depersonalization

7. Conditions for Data Processing
7.1. With the subject’s consent

8. Procedure for Data Collection, Storage, and Transfer
The Operator ensures data security through legal, organizational, and technical measures in accordance with the law.
8.1. Data is protected from unauthorized access.
8.2. Data is not shared with third parties unless legally required or consented by the subject.
8.3. Users may update their data by emailing info@fhistory.ru (subject: "Data Update").
8.4. Processing continues until purpose is fulfilled unless another term is specified. Users may withdraw consent by emailing info@fhistory.ru (subject: "Withdrawal of Consent").
8.5. Third-party services (e.g. payment systems) store/process data per their own privacy policies. The Operator is not liable for third-party actions.
8.6. Restrictions on dissemination do not apply to data processed in the public interest.
8.7. The Operator ensures confidentiality.
8.8. Data is stored only as long as necessary unless otherwise provided by law.
8.9. Processing ends upon purpose achievement, consent expiration/withdrawal, or detection of unlawful processing.

10. Personal Data Confidentiality
The Operator and others with access to data are obligated not to disclose or distribute data without the subject’s consent, unless otherwise required by law.

11.2. Any changes to this Policy will be reflected in this document. It remains in force until replaced.
